BIO: Lucie Castro-Tati

Ms. Lucie Castro-Tati has over 15 years of professional experience – 5 years of it as an Association Management Professional.  As part of a 4 person team, she is involved in many of the programs necessary to run a successful non-profit association. Her responsibilities include membership retention, conference logistics including exhibitor and sponsor relations, the organizations successful webinar program which produces 6 educational programs a year.  Ms. Castro-Tati is also responsible for the organization’s Scholarship and Project Leadership Award programs.

Having worked within three major industries - healthcare/managed Care, non-profit/trade associations, as well as the retail/food & beverage industry – She has gathered a unique set of skills including; lead generation, report writing, direct/email campaign planning /execution, logistical planning, analytical problem solving and stellar interpersonal skills.

Lucie Castro-Tati was born in Honduras, Central America before her parents immigrated to New York City when she was four.  As the eldest of three, Lucie was often counted on as a disciplinarian, mediator, translator, prep-cook and tutor.  She earned her Bachelor of Science, in Business Administration and Marketing from the Florida Metropolitan University in 2006.

Ms. Castro-Tati is an active member with the Douglas County Chapter of the American Women’s Association. Ms. Castro-Tati, served as the Chapter President from 2009-2011, was awarded the Chapter’s Woman of the Year in 2009 and the President’s Award in 2008.  Ms. Castro-Tati is also a member of the American Society of Association Professionals.
